Is a Cronus Zen bannable in NBA 2K27?

This is the question every buyer asks first, and it deserves a direct answer instead of marketing copy.

Updated September 4, 2026 — NBA 2K27 release day

The technical picture

Ark runs at the controller input layer. It sends button and stick inputs the same way your hands would, and it never reads, patches or injects anything into the game. That is why hardware scripts have stayed viable across 2K releases, but online play is still governed by each platform's terms of service, so use it knowingly.

What that means in practice

There is no anti-cheat hook to trip because nothing runs on the console or on your PC's game process. What can still stand out is behaviour: perfect greens on every attempt for hours, or dribble input that no human hand produces. Detection pressure, when it exists, is behavioural rather than technical.

Play like a person. Ark is tuned toward realistic outcomes for that reason — it improves consistency, it does not pretend you are a robot.

The terms-of-service side

Third-party input devices sit outside what most online terms of service permit, and that is a decision you make for yourself. We would rather say that plainly than pretend it is not a factor.

Frequently asked

Has anyone been banned for a Zen in 2K?

There is no public record of 2K issuing hardware-script bans, and no technical detection path for input-layer devices. That is not a guarantee, and platform terms of service still apply.

Does Ark work for online play in NBA 2K27?

Yes. Ark reads shot and movement animations rather than a specific mode or build, so online play behaves the same way the rest of the game does once the script is on your Zen.

How much does Ark cost?

$55 one time. That includes the script file, written setup instructions and every update released during the NBA 2K27 cycle.

Which consoles are supported?

PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC, using any controller the Cronus Zen already supports.

Do I need to configure anything?

No. Ark ships pre-tuned. Program it once in Zen Studio and play — there are no menus, sliders or per-build profiles to manage.
